  • Availability: Everyday
  • Group size : +2

On the first day you will be picked up from your hotel in Sharm by an air-conditioned vehicle at approximately 6.15 and taken to Sharm El Sheikh Airport where you will board your plane to fly to Cairo. The flight takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you have arrived, you will be met by our Egyptologist guide who will accompany you for the day.

You will visit the Egyptian Museum first where you will get a guided tour of the best areas then some free time to explore yourselves. After this you will be taken to have lunch with the opportunity to see the river Nile. Then you will make a stop at a perfume shop, where they produce many different scents and beautiful perfume bottles.

Following this you will then visit the Pyramids of Giza, and the Sphinx, which are two of the best-known monuments in Egypt. You will have time to explore the plateau where the pyramids stand and also enter the pyramids (at an extra local charge). Lunch is usually eaten on the Nile in an old fashioned paddle steamer. Then you will be taken to the Papyrus Institute, where you will learn how papyrus is made and have the opportunity to purchase some if you desire. You will then be taken to your hotel in Cairo for one night.

On the second day we collect you (with your breakfast box) at about 6am and take you to Cairo Airport. The flight is approximately 50 minutes and upon arrival our English speaking Egyptologist guide will meet you. You will begin this magical day with a visit to the Valley of the Kings. You can go into Tutankhamun's tomb but there is a local charge for this, which is worth the money.

You will go onto Hatshepsut temple. Pharaoh Hatshepsut enjoyed a peaceful and prosperous reign. She built magnificent temples, protected Egypt's borders and masterminded a highly profitable trading mission to the mysterious land of Punt. She should have been feted as one of the most successful of the 18th Dynasty kings. You will then be taken to a local restaurant for lunch.

Followed by a visit to the Karnak temples. Karnak comprises a vast conglomeration of ruined temples, chapels, pylons and other buildings, notably the Great Temple of Amen and a massive structure begun by Pharaoh Amenhotep III (ca. 1391-1351 BC). The last part of your trip includes shopping in Luxor.

We will then transfer you back to Luxor airport for a 45-minute flight back to Sharm. Our local guide will meet you and return you to your hotel where you can reminisce on your trip.
